General Information
Once you have elected to start a new proposal or edit an existing
proposal you are presented with
a Web page in which you must enter the following information:
- Agency
- Program Title
- Scientific Category
- Abstract
- Is this a thesis project?
- If so, enter the supervisor's name
- How many additional clear nights are required to complete the project?
- Is this a joint proposal?
- If so, what is the total number of nights requested from all agencies
combined?
- Is this a master proposal for a group of individual proposals conducted
as a large program or a program conducted in coordination with other observations?
- If so, give a brief summary.
- Is an extension of the standard proprietary period required?
- If so, justify this request
Be sure to save any information you have entered with the
Save Changes button on the side-bar.
This button appears on the bottom of any page so you can save new or edited
information at any time. If you have not completed all of the mandatory
fields in the form, or have made an error in the format of an entry,
an error message will appear in your browser window. Correct any errors
and save again before proceeding.
Additional information for each field on the page can be obtained by clicking
on the appropriate label for the field in question.
