What is new with the HST archive at CADC

  • The NICMOS HLA products are now available through the interface. Just select HLA and the datatype as "Any Imaging"

  • One can now subscribe to a general RSS feeds for HST which will announce any new public observations available for the past 15 days. One could subsribe to the RSS feed using the following construct: http://www.cadc.hia.nrc.gc.ca/cadcbin/hst/rss-hst.py
    In addition, if you would like to subsribe to a specific RSS feed for your favorite object, just add "target=" to the end of the URL. For example this construct will let you check the latest 100 public observations for 47tucanae: http://www.cadc.hia.nrc.gc.ca/cadcbin/hst/rss-hst.py?target=47tuc"

  • Included the metadata of ST-ECF HLA Grism products into this interface. They also can be accessed through a specific search interface.
  • Added the retrieval of pedigree information for the datasets to the result page.
  • Added the possibility to search for solar bodies (BETA version!).
