Simple Image Access Protocol

CVO provides Simple Image Access Protocol (SIAP version 1.0) services to access imaging data from the CFHT, CGPS, GEMINI, HST, IRIS, and JCMT data collections.

Features:

• decompose mosaic images into single extension FITS files
• cutout of the region-of-interest when it is smaller than the image
• WCS correction of returned FITS files
• all recommended spatial (WCS), spectral, and time values available with verb=3
